The I X Infinity series is born of the many selves we inhabit as women in the world today. Within these invisible power structures lies the visible physical self, each different from the other – moulded by the scars of time, the weight of living, and etch of passing time. Over the past few years, my practice has also grown into a collective narrative of women I spend time with across age, economic and social structures, and geographical locations. The anonymity promised by the head offers a site of conversation, where one is invited to inhabit and imagine – a dream that was once dreamed and forever remained in the dark of the night.

The series also draws on three questions of the self to mirror the present, the past, and the future of the self - a conversation with stories of the past, challenges of the present, and imaginations of the future.
